Yesterday I took the opportunity to go and see the new exhibition of the contemporary arts center in Perpignan called “A Cent Mètres du Centre du Monde”. The Gallery is beautiful old warehouse where the contrast between centenary wooden beam and modern metal works perfectly in harmony with the current contemporary art exhibition.
The current exhibition is supported by the University of Paris 1, unveils 80 new works performed in tandem by 40 pairs of artists, composed of the major figures of contemporary art and the most prestigious Comics’ authors.
The exhibition started in Paris will roam through France and Belgium. Real panorama of the contemporary creation, “Quelques instants plus tard …” embraces the largest schools of Comic and major art movements from the narrative figuration to the School of Nice, including free figuration or street art.
